Training of Trainers (ToT) for Project Staff – Swat, Jhang, Chiniot, Narowal & Sialkot Med Matrix Services (SMC-Pvt Ltd) successfully conducted a series of Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions for project staff in Swat, Jhang, Chiniot, Narowal, and Sialkot. The capacity-building initiative was designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and facilitation competencies of project teams and to ensure effective, standardized, and high-quality implementation of project interventions at the field level. The ToT sessions provided project staff with a comprehensive understanding of the relevant project objectives, technical content, implementation approaches, and training methodologies. Particular emphasis was placed on developing participants' ability to effectively communicate key messages, facilitate participatory learning sessions, conduct practical activities, manage group dynamics, and support the implementation of subsequent community- and field-level activities. The training adopted an interactive and participatory approach, combining technical presentations, facilitated discussions, group work, practical exercises, demonstrations, role plays, case studies, and question-and-answer sessions. These methods enabled participants to translate theoretical knowledge into practical skills and enhanced their confidence as trainers and facilitators. The ToTs were conducted across the five project locations, bringing together project staff from Swat, Jhang, Chiniot, Narowal, and Sialkot. The sessions also promoted peer learning and experience sharing among participants, allowing teams to discuss field realities, identify potential implementation challenges, and develop practical solutions appropriate to their respective districts. A key component of the training was the preparation of project staff to serve as effective trainers and resource persons within their respective project teams. Participants were equipped with skills related to session planning, adult learning principles, effective presentation and facilitation techniques, use of training materials, participatory methodologies, assessment of learning, and provision of constructive feedback. Through this initiative, Med Matrix Services contributed to strengthening the institutional and technical capacity of project teams, supporting a cascade-based approach to training and helping ensure consistency in the delivery of project interventions across multiple geographical areas. The successful completion of the ToT series demonstrates Med Matrix Services' commitment to quality training, capacity development, and evidence-informed implementation of health and development programmes. The trained project staff are expected to apply their enhanced knowledge and facilitation skills in subsequent project activities, contributing to improved programme quality and sustainable capacity at the field level.
